Percussionist
Graduated from Kunitachi College of Music.
Received the Most Outstanding Player Award at the New Future Players Concert at the time of college graduation.

She has been supported many artists for a wide range of the genre includes; Yosui Inoue, Keisuke Kuwata, Saori Yuki, Ouyang Feifei, Iruka, Ayano Uema, 12 Girls Band, Chen Min (of Chinese Erhu), Horimitsu Agatsuma (of Tsugaru-jamisen)and Iwao Furusawa (of Violin), while concentrating on some solo works. You Hatakeyama’s professional interests is keep expanding beyond simple play of music; such as organizing live musical battling against virtuoso drummer Kozo Suganuma, and sometimes collaborating with an Rakugo storyteller Maestro Shunputei Shota for experimental Comedy and Music installations because of her love for the classical Japanese comedies (Rakugo).

In 2009, she released her debut album Chaotic Planet from PONY CANYON for fist as her own solo project titled HYPS (Hatakeyama YOU Project for Spirits). In early 2012, You released an album titled “Yoake No Cats” from EMI Music Japan as a member of Saori Yuki Band, next released her own charity mini-album “Hikari No Michi” later of the year. She has been appointed as an honorable the 21st SanSan Numazu Ambassador to promote travel and leisure of Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. You Hatakeyama’s new album is released in March 2014, from Kino Music.
